Client Requirements

Our client owns a mid-sized transportation company that deals with providing multiple types of vehicles for several purposes. Their daily workflow includes fuel checks, vehicle health checks, vehicle allotment, driver management, etc. The client demanded premium software that assisted in carrying out these processes with precision to save their time. A tracking feature was also installed in the system for monitoring the fleet of vehicles on duty.

Vehicles need to stay in a safe and well-maintained condition. The client wanted this fleet management system to further elevate their security measures. They wished for an alarm system that could notify the staff about vehicle health and functioning issues.

Challenge

Developing and designing a modern system with automation as a central element can put developers and teams through various challenges. We also faced multiple challenges while creating this fleet management system. One big task was to add the feature of maintenance scheduling, like regular vehicle health checkups. This required us to feed various data sets to the system.

Another difficult task that stared us in the eye was safety compliance. We had to make sure our fleet management system complied with all regulations. We also added a driver behavior monitoring system for added safety of the vehicle and customers or clients using our clients' services.

Since the company employees were going to be the ones using this system, we ensured that it was user-friendly with seamless navigation. We added simple yet useful features, along with mobile compatibility, so employees could access it even if they were away from the office.
